Pétanque courts in Brussels

Brussels has 121 pétanque courts listed on Mapetanque.be, spread across 16 of the Region's 19 municipalities. Anderlecht comes first with 34 courts, followed by the City of Brussels with 28. In Saint-Gilles, the Charles Picqué boulodrome has stood in Pierre Paulus Park for around 40 years. It underwent a major renovation completed in 2023: the building was opened up to the park with a large glass frontage, and three outdoor courts and a large terrace were added.
